Palaweño musicians to raise funds for Taal eruption victims

Musicians in Palawan will unite for a one-night gig intended to raise funds and collect goods to help the victims of Taal volcano eruptions in Batangas province.

The benefit concert is called “Tugtugan Tulong sa Taal”. It is scheduled this coming Saturday, January 25 in front of City Coliseum and will be free admission. The show will start at 3 in the afternoon, up to midnight.

Organizer Jemphel Regana asked everyone to bring in used clothes, beddings, underwear, hygiene kit, diaper, canned foods, noodles, rice and whatever they can contribute during the concert date. Cash is also welcomed.

Around 30 artists from soloists to bands committed to perform on the said concert. These performers are Grandeza, The Stiff, Christine Arcegono, Raymund Palay, Prohibido, JRC Choir, Anyhow, Highnote, Boarnovus, Minuto, Sound Sensation, Lola Remedios Band, Lagundi, Colleen Kirsten, Jonex, Serenity, PS Band, Nirvanana, Rey Abrea, The Hood Zons, Prinsesani Gianan, Eidamn, Collabwe, Balasik, Venga Boys, Xylein, 2000’s Band, Fei Weinne Castillo, and Another Band.

The fundraising event is supported by different groups, establishments, organizations, and communities both from the city and in the province, including Radio Manila, Big And Easy Lemonade, United Architects of the Philippines-Palawan Chapter, Puerto Princesa City Police Office, Pepsi Palawan, and Palaone Youtubers.

Regana appeals to everyone to support the said cause and enjoy the occasion where all the music artists in the City will perform together to help our fellow Filipinos. For updates, check Palawan Sound Facebook page.
