Adventist Hospital Palawan steps up to hold three ISO Certification (International Organization for Standardization) for Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015), Environment Management Systems (ISO 14001:2015) and Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001:2008) to align with United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals for commitment for quality, safer and healthier Palawan.
Together with the city government of Puerto Princesa, Adventist Hospital Palawan launched the triple ISO challenge.
AHP Director for Quality Excellence Ma. Ed Jovelyn de Loyola explained the benefits of having 3 ISO certification.
“AHP is design to God’s orderliness with all its management system and today AHP is stepping the bar of excellence quality health care through this triple ISO certification… combining district standard into one complete framework provides greater benefits for the organization: (1) we would be able to satisfy customer requirements through our performance; (2) we would be able to achieve and attain happier workplace; (3) optimal preservation of our natural resource,” de Loyola says.
“This certification is about adding value to our patient and worker experience in our institution” she added.
Furthermore, AHP President & CEO, Jun Apacible Jr, emphasized to give continuous quality healthcare and services to Palaweños.
“From this day onward AHP Department Manager, Leaders will continually improve its management system to give the best quality health care that they deserve especially to our kababayan dito sa Puerto at Palawan,” Apacible says.
