Ranking Social Security System (SSS) officers, led by the Vice President for South Luzon 2 Division, checked several private institutions in the city to remind them to comply with the SSS law.

“Nag-iikot nga kami and tinitignan namin ang compliance… kasi gusto rin naming ibahagi na meron kaming programa ngayon, na may penalty (sa mga di magcocomply)–hanggang May 9 lang yun. Dapat i-prioritize,” Francisco P.L Lescano, SSS VP for South Luzon 2, said.

He further reiterated that if such companies or offices are found non-compliant with the contributions and fees for their employees, it is likely to result in legal actions.

“Ito ang mga program namin na kailangang i-prioritize, otherwise, magkakaproblema tsaka magkaka-legal action,” the vice president said.

The SSS team is set to visit 8 offices in the city today, April 19, and next on their list for their nationwide visit are Batangas and Calapan.
