19 katao, ipina-swab dahil nagka-direct contact sa namatay sa COVID-19

Labing-siyam na indibidwal ang natukoy ng Municipal Inter-Agency Task Force ng Coron na nagkaroon ng direct contact sa 82 anyos na COVID-19 positive patient sa kanilang bayan na pinaniniwalaang “local transmission” at namatay isang araw matapos malaman ang resulta ng kanyang swab test.

Ayon kay Dr. Allan Guintapan, ang Municipal Health Officer ng Coron, pawang mga kamag-anak ng biktima ang kanilang natukoy at nakunan ng swab specimen na naipadala sa lungsod ng Puerto Princesa para maisailalim sa RT-PCR test sa Ospital ng Palawan.

“Wala naman silang sintomas at lahat sila ay na-swab na at naipadala na sa Puerto Princesa at hoefully, tatlo o apat na araw ay malalaman na natin ang result. Sa ngayon ay naroon lang naman sila sa kanilang area [Barangay Tagumpay] at wala namang movement doon dahil sila ang nasa critical zone natin,” ani Dr. Guintapan sa panayam ng Palawan Daily News.

Sinabi pa ng local health official na ito ay unang batch pa lamang ng kanilang contact-tracing at kasunod naman ang mga empleyado ng ospital kung saan unang dinala ang pasyente.

“Tapos na kami sa una at ngayon ay sa mga naging contact naman doon sa ospital kung saan siya dinala. Matatapos namin ito sa mga susunod na araw at sana nga ay negative ang mga resulta ng test nila,” dagdag pa nito.

Sa kaugnay na ulat, muli namang naglabas ng pabatid sa publiko ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Busuanga na kasunod na bayan ng Coron kung saan nakasaad na ipinagbabawal na muna uli ang pagpasok at paglabas sa kanilang bayan habang nagpapatuloy ang Enhanced Contact Tracing Activity sa Coron.

“Lahat ng transaksyon sa Coron ay pansamantalang ipinatitigil until further notice,” bahagi ng advisory na inilabas ng Busuanga LGU.

Samantala, agad din naman nilang ipa-aalam sa lahat kapag muli nang binuksan ang biyahe papunta at palabas ng kanilang bayan patungo sa Coron.
