“It’s all system go for this for this plebiscite. Our COMELEC people all over Palawan are ready to conduct this plebiscite.

“Itong plebisito natin eh tinatawag nating manual election o manual system hindi kagaya ng National Election which is automated. Sa atin dito since this is manual, after the close polls, so magbibilang ngayon sa presinto manually so it may take time although we reduce the number of voters from 1,000 per clustered precinct ngayon 200 na lang per clustered precinct. After mabilang yan, dadalhin pa yung balota physically from the precinct to the canvassing sa munisipyo, so it may take time, may travel time yan hindi kagaya ng electronic voting o automated election, isang pindot lang transmit yan tanggap agad yan doon sa munisipyo,”

“The soon as possible time makapag-proclaim tayo, we will do that but in Palawan considering geographical location, actually yung sa Kalayaan natin natengga pa yung official ballot natin, hindi pa nakatawig ito because of weather situation. But nonetheless, siguro by [March] 15 or 16, the Provincial canvassers can consolidate all the results coming from the 23 municipalities and conclude all or finish the canvassing on the 16 [of March],”
