CDRRMC Emergency Operations Center for CoVid-19 Activated

City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council – Emergency Operations Center for CoVid-19 was activated as Puerto Princesa braces for the onslaught of the virus, although the city remains negative as of this time.

CDRRMO Program Manager Earl Timbancaya told Palawan Daily News that the operations center was activated yesterday, March 13.

“Kahapon pa na-activate ang operations center and we will function on a 24 hour basis, so sa manpower naman is depende dahil marami kaming kasama dito basta 24 hours ang operations namin,” Timbancaya said in an interview.

He said that the activation of the emergency operations center is specifically done to address CoVid-19 situation within the city.

“Ang emergency operations center natin is ibig sabihin, tayo ang magco-consolidate ng output ng lahat ng mga activities sa baba dahil tayo ang nandito sa taas,” he added.
