City Government acquires heavy equipment to fast track infra projects

The City Government of Puerto Princesa acquired heavy equipment such as tankers, concrete mixers, asphalt paver, concrete paver, boom truck and other equipment in an effort to further equip the City Engineering Department to implement City funded infrastructure projects by administration.

City Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron announced on Monday, December 7, 2020, that his administration worked hard and made sure that the City’s engineering will become capable of undertaking and can fast track the infra projects by administration.

City Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron together with City Officials, Department Heads and program managers of the City Government of Puerto Princesa l led the blessing of the newly acquired equipment of the City Government, this morning, December 7, 2020.

Among the newly-acquired equipment are two units tanker, one unit 10-wheller Concrete Mixer, Tractor Head, one unit Asphaltt Paver, one unit Concrete Paver, one unit Boom Truck. Also acquired are two units 34-seater coaster/ mini-bus.

“Ang lahat ng yan, kaya natin ina-acquire Yan, ay tungo sa direction na ang ating mga projects ay by administration na,” Mayor Bayron said.

Immediately after the flag raising ceremony, Mayor Bayron and City Officials, Department Heads took part during the blessing of the City Government’s newly acquired equipment.

He said that it is his intention to fast track the implementation of the city’s infra projects, specifically that in different the barangays and mini-city halls in strategic locations of Puerto Princesa.

“Kaya napakalaking responsibilidad ang naka-atang sa balikat ng ating City Engineering (Department). Kaya ating pakiusap na gawin ng maayos ang mga projects natin para mapakinabangan ng ating mga anak ng making sa anak pa ng mga anak natin,” Mayor Bayron said.
