Puerto Princesa City has recorded its third COVID-19 case June 17, Wednesday.

Puerto Princesa Task Force for COVID-19 Incident Commander Dr. Dean Palanca announced this through an online video advisory at the City Information Department Facebook Page Wednesday morning.

Palanca said this COVID-19 patient is a male locally stranded individual (LSI) who arrived in the city on June 5 via 2GO ship from Manila.

Palanca said the patient will be brought to a city’s isolation facility.

On the other hand, Palanca stated that the other two COVID-19 cases are in a good condition as of the press time.

Palanca added the two are completing their two weeks of recovery in a city isolation facility.

The same with these two earlier COVID-19 cases, Palanca said the third case shows no symptoms.

Palanca reiterated the importance of being able to monitor and subject the arriving Puerto Princesans in a facility for health status monitoring.

He also reminded the public to work hand in hand with them by always observing health protocols.
