Pagkakaroon ng motorcycle barrier, mahigpit na ipatutupad para sa pag-angkas

Mula sa araw ng Lunes, July 20, ay mahigpit nang ipatutupad sa lungsod ng Puerto Princesa ang pagkakaroon ng “motorcycle passenger barrier” na aprubado ng National Inter-Agency Task Force para sa mga gumagamit ng motorsiklo at mag-aangkas.

Kasunod ito ng pagpapalabas ng kautusan ng Department of Interior and Local Government o DILG – MIMAROPA sa lahat ng local officials sa rehiyon na pirmado ni DILG Regional Director Wilhelm Suyco alinsunod sa naunang kautusang inilabas naman ni Secretary Eduardo Año.

Malinaw na nakasaad sa nasabing kautusan na ang pag-angkas sa mga motorsiklo ay limitado lamang sa mga mag-asawa at mag-partner at kinakailangang magpakita ng katunayan na talagang ang mga ito ay nakatira sa iisang bahay.

At kahit may aprubadong barrier, dapat ay may suot na face mask, helmet at iba pang kagamitan na kailangan sa pagmo-motorsiklo.

Inaatasan din ang LGUs na i-monitor at mahigpit na ipatupad ang nasabing kautusan sa kani-kanilang nasasakupan.

Sa Facebook post naman ni City Information Officer Richard Ligad, sinabi nitong sa ngayon ay papayagan na muna nila ang helmet, face mask at gloves.

“Helmet, gloves at face mask, sa tingin ko, ok na muna sa City Traffic dahil wala pa akong alam na makukunan ng “barrier” na approved ng IATF dito sa Puerto Princesa City,” post ni CIO Ligad sa kanyang FB.

Matatandaan na una nang sinabi ng City PNP at Highway Patrol Group na bagama’t mayroon silang alinlangan sa paglalagay ng “motorcycle passenger barrier” ay wala naman silang magagawa kundi ipatupad ang kautusan ng DILG.
