Pamahalang Panlalawigan ng Palawan, iti-take over pansamantala ang distribusyon ng kuryente sa barangay Rio Tuba, Bataraza

Ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Palawan na muna ang mamamahala sa distribusyon ng kuryente sa barangay Riotuba, Munisipyo ng Bataraza, Palawan. Ito ay matapos na aprubahan ng Sangguniang Panlalawigan  kahapon, ika-23 ng Pebrero taong 2021  sa kanilang regular na sesyon ang kahilingan ni Gobernador  Jose Ch. Alvarez na payagan siyang pumasok sa isang Memorandum of Agreement sa pagitan ng Power Source Philippines Inc (PSPI).

Batay sa magiging kasunduan, nakasaad na sa loob ng Tatlumpong (30) araw,  ang provincial government ang mamamahala sa pasilidad ng PSFI habang nagsasagawa pa ang Paleco ng pagdudugtong ng kanilang linya mula sa main grid na nasa munisipyo.

Ang munisipyo naman ng Bataraza ang may responsibilidad sa pagkakaroon ng “fuel” ng mga generator at sa pangongolekta ng bayad sa kuryente.

“Whereas, the PGP shall under take to operate, maintain and distribute, and supply electricity to the residents of Barangay Rio Tuba using the facilities of PSPI during the said 30-day period, except for the provision of fuel for the generators and collection of payment for the electricity which shall be for the account and responsibility of the Municipality of Bataraza” nakasaad pa sa MOA.

Matatandang ibinasura ng Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) ang hiling ng PSPI na palawigin pa ang kanilang operasyon sa Brgy. Rio Tuba  at inutusan ang Paleco na mag-supply ng kuryente sa lugar.
