PNP, tututukan ang pagpapatupad ng health at safety protocol sa PPC

Ipagpapatuloy umano ng Puerto Princesa City Police Office ang pagbabantay sa lungsod kabilang na ang pagsunod sa ipinatutupad na curfew hour simula kahapon, Marso 25, alas 10:00 ng gabi hanggang alas 5:00 ng umaga.

“Patuloy po ang ating pag-iikot [at] pagpapatrolya katuwang po natin yung mga barangay marshals at barangay officials para i-implement specially itong curfew natin and yung observance nung health protocol,” pahayag ni Police Major Mhardie Azares, tagapagsalita ng City Police Office.

Dagdag pa ni PMAJ. Azares, ngayong papalapit na ang ‘Semana Santa’ ay magtatalaga rin umano ang sila ng mga tauhan sa mga simbahan, Mt. Calvary at mga lugar na malimit dayuhin ng mga tao upang masiguro na sumusunod ang mga ito sa minimum health standard.

“Parating na yung semana Santa, we will be deploying personnel sa mga malalaking simbahan [o] pangunahing simbahan at sa pakikipag-ugnayan na rin natin sa Mt. Calvary ay wala rin silang events doon so may mga mass lang sila. Maaaring  dayuhin din ng mga tao yun (Mt. Calvary), papasyalan na lang natin [at] lalagyan natin ng police personnel in case na dumami po ang tao.”

“Ang mga places of convergences, likes sa terminals [at] mga palengke ay kasama po yan sa iikutan ng mga pulis po natin.”

Nagpaalala naman ito sa mga mamamayan na huwag maging kampante ngayong panahon ng pandemya at ugaliin parin ang pagsunod sa ipinatutupad na pamantayan laban sa COVID-19.

“Patuloy po nating i-observe ang minimum health protocols, alam natin na may vaccine na subalit by priority po yun so mainam parin na hakbang para ma-prevent yung COVID-19 is yung [pag] observe ng minimum health standard gaya pagsuot ng facemask [at] pag-observe ng social distancing,”
