Lifeless man found ashore in Barangay Mangingisda

A man was found lifeless off the shore of Paglaom 3 in Barangay Mangingisda, Puerto Princesa City this morning, March 28.

Local police identified the man as Hernan Moraca Lagaras, 34 and a resident of Paglaom 1 of the said barangay.

Based on the initial investigation, the victim had a drinking spree before he went fishing and never came back.

His relatives looked and search for the victim, only to found out that he drowned at the said place.

According to Loida Calma, they saw the victim around 7:30 this morning and she immediately called their barangay officials for help and to proceed in the area.

“Mga 7:30 po ng umaga namin nakita ang bangkay sa may putol ilog at tumawag agad kami para makapagpadala ng mga tanod,” Calma told Palawan Daily News.

Meanwhile, a request for autopsy and post mortem will be made to determine the cause of death and if there was a foul play
