Pinabendisyunan ni Kapitan Victor Balingit ng Barangay Santa Lucia ang kahabaan ng National Highway ng nasabing barangay na umano’y binansagan ng “killer road” sa lalawigan.

Ang pagbibendesyun ay ginawa nina Father Arnel Cauba, Religious Priest at Jomen Arcelo, Assistant Priest.

Ayon kay Balingit, umaasa siyang sa pamamagitan ng banal na misa ay matigil na ang sunod-sunod na aksidente sa lugar, na marami na ang binawian ng buhay.

May mga signages na rin na nakalagay sa lugar na magpapa-alala sa mga motorista na mag-ingat sa lugar kung saan marami na ang nasawi.

Ang kahabaan ng National Highway na tinaguriang “killer road” ng mga residente sa Sta. Lucia
Matatandaan na noong nakaraang taon ay tatlo ang nasawi at kamakailan ay isang van ang naaksidente kung saan apat ang binawian ng buhay.
Ang nasabing lugar ay tinatawag ng “killer road” ayon sa mga residente.

Samantala, sa pagtatanong ng news team sa mga ilang residente, dati umanong colony ang lugar noong 1972 at may napapaulat na mga namatay o na-salvage na umano sa lugar.
