With the passage of RA 11480, the DepEd is set to formulate the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) for its effective implementation.

“Kinonsulta ang Kagawaran, kasama ang Pangulo at mga mambabatas, sa proseso ng pagbuo ng batas na ito at kami ay maglalabas ng kaukulang Implementing Rules and Regulation sa lalong madaling panahon,” the DepEd said.

The DepEd also announced that Education Undersecretary for Curriculum and Instruction, USEC Diosdado San Antonio will join a webinar entitled ‘Inclusive Education for Filipino Children on the Move: Making the Invisible Visible’ to discuss available learning continuity opportunities for Filipino migrant children.

This event will be held via Zoom on July 31, 2020. The DepEd urged teachers, educators and stakeholders to join.

The DepEd said that this webinar via Zoom is important in ensuring learning continuity for children during the time of coronavirus disease (Covid) -19 pandemic.

“Learning continuity for children amid the COVID-19 pandemic is very important to avoid its adverse implications. The whole world is making an effort to provide different learning modalities as prolonged school disruption affects the lives of children, especially those in the marginalized sector,” the DepEd further said.
