Mariing hiniling ng mga kinauukulang medikal mula sa City Health Office sa Sangguniang Panlungsod na aprubahan ang kanilang dalawang kahilingang resulosyon na magbebenipisyo para sa mga mamamayan ng siyudad ng Puerto Princesa sa aspetong pangkalusugan.

Sa ipinatawag na question and answer hour ng Sangguniang Panlungsod, sinabi ni Dr. Ralph Marco Flores ng City Health Office kanilang inaasahan ang pagsang-ayon ng konseho ng Puerto Princesa hinggil sa kanilang isinusulong na authorization para kay Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron para pumasok sa isang partnership sa Department of Health sa regional counterpart nito na Center for Health Development ng Mimaropa para sa implementasyon ng Universal Health Care Integration sa local health system nito.

 

Sakaling maisulong mapagkakalooban ang City Health Office ng pondong 1.7 milyong piso sa implementasyon nito.

 

Iba’t- ibang mga aktibidad at pagkakagastusan ng nabanggit na pondo ay nakalinyada na naka-angkla naman sa inilatag ng DOH.

 

Ang naturang pondo ay maayos na ili-liquidate ng City Health Office, batay na rin sa prosesong palagiang sinusunod ng opisina na kadalasang nagagawa itong tama kung kaya’t nagiging mabilis ang pagkakaloob ng suporta mula sa pamahalaang nasyunal.

 

Ang ikalawa ay ang pagpayag sa Alkalde ng lungsod na pumasok sa isang Memorandum of Agreement sa pagitan ng Department of Health-Center for Health Development Mimaropa at City Government of Puerto Princesa para sa implementasyon ng DOH health and information technologies na maaaring gamitin sa lahat ng aspetong health care facilities ng lungsod.

 

Ang DOH ay tuwirang nakasuporta para sa pagpapatupad ng mga programang makakaangat ng sitwasyong pangkalusugan sa pangkalahatan.

 

Kaugnay nito, agarang inaprubahan ng Sangguniang Panlungsod ang nabanggit na mga kahilingan para na rin sa kapakanan ng nakakaraming mamamayan.
