Pamimigay ng ayuda, bawal na simula sa mayo 2 ayon sa comelec

Epektibo na simula Mayo 2 ang ipinatutupad na Ayuda Ban ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC), kasabay ng paghahanda para sa Halalan 2025.
Ayon sa COMELEC, alinsunod sa itinatakda ng batas, bawal na ang pamamahagi ng anumang uri ng ayuda o tulong mula sa mga tanggapan ng pamahalaan sa loob ng sampung araw bago ang botohan. Layunin ng hakbang na ito na mapanatili ang patas at malinis na halalan.
Kabilang sa mga programang sakop ng pagbabawal ang Ayuda para sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP), Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps), Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS), at Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD).

Babala ng COMELEC, ang sinumang lalabag sa Ayuda Ban ay maaaring mapatawan ng anim na buwang pagkakakulong, alinsunod sa Omnibus Election Code.
Patuloy na pinaaalalahanan ng COMELEC ang mga ahensya ng pamahalaan at mga opisyal na sumunod sa regulasyon upang maiwasan ang anumang parusa at masiguro ang integridad ng darating na halalan.
