A comprehensive training on Home Care Support Services for Senior Citizens, held from November 13-16, in El Nido, Palawan, proved to be a success as volunteers underwent essential preparations.
The program, aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of volunteers for the effective care of sick, frail, and bedridden senior citizens, directly contributes to the well-being of the elderly residents in the community.
The training was a result of the collaborative efforts of the Office of the Senior Citizen Affairs (OSCA), Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Municipal Health Office (MHO), and MDRRMO El Nido; Social Technology Unit, and Social Pension Program of DSWD MIMAROPA; and DSWD Social Technology Bureau.
