The Palawan Provincial Government has successfully concluded the construction of six permanent bridges initiated in 2022 by the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO).

Among these achievements, four Hanging Bridges now grace the landscape, connecting New Agutaya and Alimanguan in the charming town of San Vicente, as well as Sowangan in Quezon and Canipaan in the picturesque town of Rizal. The funding dedicated to these vital links amounted to a substantial P18,945,129.59.

Additionally, two Reinforced Concrete Deck Girder (RCDG) Bridges were built in New Guinlo, Taytay, and Bagong Bayan in El Nido, with a total project cost reaching P37,470,798.93.

These infrastructure projects are part of the ongoing efforts of the Provincial Government, led by Governor Socrates, to provide Palaweños and tourists with safe and efficient bridges for travel.

They also play a significant role in assisting local farmers in transporting agricultural products to markets.
