Around 60 tourists on board a luxury cruise ship visited the Palawan Heritage Center (PHC) on Thursday, February 9.
Seabourn Encore is the first cruise ship to dock in the port of Puerto Princesa almost three years since the pandemic outbreak and halted the local tourism industry.
The tourists were welcomed by PHC’s Chief Administrative Officer Mary Rose Palance-Caabay.
Intern students from the Philippine Studies of Palawan State University (PSU) served as tour guides for the guests during their visit at PHC.
The tourists were able to watch documentaries about Palawan tourism and the native Tau’t Bato tribe in the province.
PHC is a part of the provincial Culture and Arts Program under the office of the Governor which is administered by Program Manager and Chief of Staff Ceasar Sammy Magbanua.
