To further boost the morale and honor front liners during this COVID-19 crisis, the online community Batang Puerto Princesa launched a nightly Facebook live by its members right in their own homes, this is to give messages, offer songs and salute all the medical frontliners and other who are helping ward of the pandemic.

Batang Puerto Princesa Founder Majal Bautista, said that the undertaking started last March 28 featuring different members of the community.

Aside from giving messages they also offer prayers to these heroes. Some members who live abroad and are experts in the medical field also give advises and tips on how to combat, survive and fight COVID-19, and encourage to stay at home.

“Ang purpose ay i-lead ang mga BPP na magpasalamat at sumuporta sa mga frontliners sa panahon na ito ng COVID-19, at tulungan ang mga tao to manage and deal with the emergency,” Bautista said.

The live greetings, according to Bautista, will last until the quarantine is over.

The members who did the live appearance will automatically qualify to win a special family portrait by visual artist Jerry Llaniguez-Gabo, while winners will be determined thru views, likes and comments generated during the live broadcasting.

Among those who did the Live sessions are Raymund Padua, Angeli Toral, Richard Bryon and Marivic Palay.
