Isang suspected COVID-19 case sa Puerto Princesa, namatay

Inanunsyo ng City Information Department ng Puerto Princesa sa pamamagitan ng kanilang online advisory sa Facebook na isang 39 years old na babae na kabilang sa “suspect COVID-19 case category” ang namatay noong April 27.

Sinabi ni Normalyn Dave ng City Information Department na ang pasyenteng namatay ay mula sa “urban barangay” dito sa lungsod. “Meron po tayong sad news, nadagdagan po ang ating PUI death kaninang one o’ clock ang atin pong update ay mayroon tayong isang namatay. Ngayon po ay nadagdagan na so, dalawa na po ang ating sumakabilang buhay na PUI,” ani Dave sa kanilang online video advisory.

“Yung atin pong additional na namatay na nakatala, ito po ay galing sa urban barangay, female, 39 years old at s’ya po ay may asthma pero ito po ay na-swab test. So, hihintayin po natin ang result kung ito po ay positive o negative,” dagdag ni Dave.

Sa nayon [April 27] ay may 12 active case sa lungsod as of 6:00 p.m. kung saan lahat ng mga ito ay kabilang sa “suspect category”. Isa naman ang napabilang sa “probable case category” at isa rin sa “confirmed case” at ito ang namatay na lalaki mula sa Barangay Tanabag.

“Ang good news naman po ay ang ating negative result ay nasa four. ‘Yung, kung mapapansin po ninyo kanina [1:00 p.m. COVID-19 Updates], zero po ‘yung ating probable case, ngayon po ay one na kasi meron po tayong suspect na nag-negative so s’ya po ay diniscgharge pero nagkaroon po ng recurring symptoms kaya ibinalik po s’ya sa health facility, so s’ya po yung nakatala na isa sa ating probable case,” ayon pa sa kanya.

Samantala, sa kabuoan ng Palawan ay tatlumpu’t pito parin ang bilang ng mga kasong binabantayan ng DOH – MIMAROPA base sa kanilang pinakahuling inilabas na COVID-19 Tracker sa rehiyon as of 3:00 p.m., April 27.
