Libreng serbisyong medikal, handog ng Pacific Partnership 2022

Nagsimula na kahapon ang Pacific Partnership 2022 o ang marka ng 17 taon na partnership ng lungsod sa United States Navy Delegates, kung saan tatlong beses na rin itong isinagawa sa pamahalaang panlungsod.

Ang naturang aktibidad ay nagsimula kahapon ng Miyerkules, Agosto 3, at magtatagal hanggang August 17, kung saan ang napiling venue ay ang People’s Amphitheatre, Mendoza Park.

Ang aktibidad ay dinaluhan ng punong lungsod, Mayor Lucilo R. Bayron, Vice Mayor Nancy Socrates, City Administrator Attorney Arnel Pedrosa, Sangguniang Panlungsod, Commander Western Command, VADM Alberto  B Carlos Philippine Navy, Philippine National Police Police Colonel Roberto  Bucad, City Director, Coast Guard Commander Laurence Ivan Felizarde, Station Commander Puerto Princesa, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), Bureau of Fire Protection Puerto Princesa (BFP), at US Navy Radm Mark Melson Commander, Task Force 73.

Layon ng Pacific Partnership 2022 ang magsagawa ng malawakang multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission sa Indo-Pacific.

Ayon kay Vice Mayor Socrates, malaki ang impact sa City Government ang pagiging host ng PP22.

“The City Government napakalaki ng impact specially with our disaster preparedness yung ability natin to respond to crisis, actually parang tayo ang magpakinabang kaysa sa kanila so it’s a really big chance for all of us to enhance capability,” ani ni Socrates.

Inaasahan naman ng Pacific Partnership 2022 sa kanilang isasagawang aktibidad na mahigit 7,000 na pasyente o higit pa ang mabibigyan ng libreng atensyong medikal.

“Our target and will see have things develop over the course of the exercises if we can provide health care, purchase 7 thousand plus focus Citizen, plus we need to do that care we provided and local facility all we asset is the community to help them to right people who needs to work for here can medical offices and the local facility to be able help us”, ani ni Melson.

Kaugnay niyan, nagpapasalamat naman si Vice Mayor Nancy Socrates sa pagpili sa lungsod upang maihatid ang malawakang medical mission ng Pacific Partnership 202.

“Let me express my sincere gratitude to the commanding officers and medical team onboard, the United State Navy Ship Mercy as well to all the participating International Navy Forces and the Pacific Partnership 2022,” ani ni Socrates.

Samantala, magtatagal ng 15 araw ang nabanggit na aktibidad at inaasahan na maabot ang inaasam na bilang ng mga matutulungan na pasyente.
