Ang resolusyon ng Inter-agency Task Force (IATF) kaugnay sa parusa para sa mga lalabag sa health protocols sa Puerto Princesa, katulad ng hindi pagsusuot ng face shield, ay malapit nang ipatupad.

Ito ang inihayag ni City Information Officer Richard Ligad sa programang PDN News Room ng Palawan Daily News.

“‘Yong parusa at multa, antabayanan natin. Ilalabas ‘yan ng IATF [ang] kanilang resolusyon [para] riyan,” ani Ligad.

Paliwanag pa ng tagapagsalita ng lungsod, kung sakaling maipatupad na ito ay ang mga COVID-19 marshall na ang mangangasiwa sa pag-monitor at paghuli sa mga lumalabag.

“‘Yong mga COVID marshall natin, sila na ang magmo-monitor [para riyan]. Una, maaabala kayo. Pangalawa na makulit pa kayo. Maaaring i-enforce na ang mga penalty diyan [laban] sa inyo,” pahayag ni Ligad.

Ipinaliwanag naman niyang ginawa ang kautusan para sa kapakanan ng mamamayan ng Puerto Princesa.

“Ito, hindi [natin] inisip para pahirapan [kayo]. Inisip ito para sa kalusugan at mapabuti tayong lahat,” saad ni Ligad.

Matatandaang inilabas ng Office of the City Mayor ang Executive Order No. 2020-50 kaugnay sa mandatory na pagsuot ng full-face shield sa mga pampublikong lugar kabilang na sa mga government offices, supermarket, mga palengke, malls, mga pagtitipon o mga serbisyo na ibinibigay ng gobyerno at maging sa mga pampublikong sasakyan.

Sa ngayon ay information dissemination muna ang kanilang ginagawa habang wala pa ang resolusyon mula sa IATF.
