Unconscious 4-year-old child rescued after being drowned in Luli Island

The Second SOU-Maritime Police on Saturday, August 7 rescued a four-year-old child after being drowned in the water vicinity of Luli Island in Honda Bay, Puerto Princesa City.

Based on the report of the authorities, the child together with her relatives went to Luli Island for swimming and other daytime activities.

“When all of a sudden the aunt and the relatives could not find the victim which was last seen playing near the shores. After a minute of search, the unconscious victim was found.” according to 2nd SOU-Maritime Police on their Official Facebook page.

Fortunately, the victim named Chelsea was rescued and initial first aid treatment was conducted for her to become responsive.

After docking at 2nd SOU-MG headquarters, the kid was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital for medical assessment and treatment.
