Mga mangingisda, hinikayat ng PCG na wag matakot mangisda sa WPS

Matagumpay na naisagawa ang katatapos palang na Awarding Ceremony ng BRP Teresa Magbanua at BRP Malapascua ng Coast Guard District Palawan, sa Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) sa lungsod ng Puerto Princesa ngayong araw ng Martes ika-21 ng Pebrero.

Ang aktibidad ay pinangunahan ni PCG Commandant, CG Admiral Artemio M Abu.

 

Sa kanyang pahayag, sinabi nito na hinihikayat ng ahensya ng PCG ang lahat ng mangingisda sa West Philippine Sea (WPS) na mangisda at wag matakot dahil naniniwala ito na ang WPS ay pag-aari ng bansang Pilipinas, at ang PCG ay patuloy na naka-alalay at nakabantay para masiguro na ligtas ang mga mangingisda doon.

 

“Ang pwersa ng Coast Guard ay marami dito sa Palawan,  for has to invisibility for our fishermen na magkaroon sila ng confident, at ini- encourage natin sila mangisda because that place is ours,” ani Admiral Abu.

 

Dagdag pa nito, ang PCG ay sisiguraduhin na sila ay patuloy na nakabantay para sa siguridad ng mga mangingisda sa WPS.

 

Nagkaroon din ng recognition sa lahat ng mga crew ng PCG sa kanilang malasakit at pagtugon sa kanilang responsibilidad habang naroroon sa WPS.
