Fitness expert shared tips to boost immune system amid covid 19 pandemic crisis

A global pandemic of Covid 19 (Corona virus disease 2019) that resulted to a month enhanced community quarantine and locked down to some areas brought individuals to pay attention and use proactive approach to restore and gain overall health and wellness to fight and beat the virus and other diseases. Mr Jessie Chua, a fitness expert and a Certified Personal trainer from International Fitness Professionals Association shared some tips and advice on how to be fit and boost immune system to fight stress and diseases, which are;

– To eat more vegestables and fruits.

– Do regural moderate exercises and not over training.

– Get some rest and sleep at least 6 to 8 hrs for muscle recovery.

– Drink warm liquids. -Avoid sugars

– Take Vit D 10000IU a day and Zinc 50-100 mg

– Take Vit C 3000 mg a day,

– Flavonoids 200bmg a day,

– Vit A 10000 to 20000IU a day,

– Vit E 800IU a day,

– Vit B6 100 mg a day

“Ang sobrang pagod at stress ay cause ng pag hina ng immune system natin at madaling pagkakasakit kaya kung pagod na sa work wag ng pilitin mag exercise pa, mag pahinga nalang” Mr Chua added.

“Drink at least 3 to 4 litres of water lalo na kung active yung life style mo” he continued.

Jessie Chua is also a Sport’s Nutrition Specialist Under GNC, IFPA, Philippine Society of Sports nutrition and Heart saver CPR AED under American Heart association and Philippine Heart Association.

In this crisis its everyone’s responsibility to protect ourselves and others to end community transmission of the virus by prevention and stay at home.
