Mga turistang pupunta ng Palawan, hindi na dadaan sa quarantine-IATF

Inihayag ni Palawan Provincial Inter-Agency Task Force Head Jerry Alili na hindi na dadaan sa 14-day quarantine ang mga turista na bibisita sa mga pinapayagan lugar sa lalawigan ng Palawan base sa dina-draft na unified protocol.

“Yung tourists lang na sinasabi ko ay dun lang sa mga tourist destination na tumatanggap sa ngayon so for now we only have Coron and El Nido And hopefully makapag open na rin yung San Vicente sa mga susunod na araw…Quarantine is 14 days pa rin (sa mga quarantine facilities). Yung tourist po ay hindi iqua-quarantine lalo na po kung sila ay 2-3 days lang. Ang sistema ng tourist ay katulad din ng nire-recommend ng Department of Tourism,” ani Alili.

Nilinaw ni Alili kapag napagkasunduan na ang gagamiting unified protocol, kailangan may kaukulang dokumento ang mga pupunta sa lalawigan. Kabilang rito ang pagpapakita ng RT-PCR test bago sumakay sa eroplano at barko.

“Lahat po ng inbound travellers, and returning residents, APOR or tourist ay required magpakita ng negative RT-PCR test before boarding sa eroplano man o sa barko. As soon as ma-approve yung protocols, kailangan nilang magpakita ng documents like dapat meron silang accommodation na mayroong certification to operate ng DOT pagkatapos papakita rin sila ng return flight nila and then yung itinerary nila papakita rin nila. And syempre yung health declaration na medical certificate,”

Samantala siniguro naman ng Provincial IATF head na babantayan ng maigi ang mga lokal na turistang pumapasok upang malaman kung nasusunod ang layunin ng pagpunta ng mga ito sa lalawigan.

“Kailangan po may return flight at binabantayan po natin kasi may mga kababayan po tayo na nagpapanggap na tourist may return flight pero hindi nila ina-avail yung return flight nila at dumidiretso na sa kung saan so we are aware of that at yan ay isa sa mga babantayan natin. By the way yung mga tourist na tatanggapin natin ay mga domestic, from other provinces wala tayong international tourists,”
