PDRRMO humiling ng suporta sa publiko para maiwasan ang pagpasok ng bagong COVID-19 strain

Nakikiusap si PDRRMO Head Jerry Alili na makipagtulungan ang publiko na ipaalam sa mga otoridad ng kanilang mga lugar tulad ng Punong Barangay at Municipal Health Officer (MHO) ang mga taong mula sa ibang lugar lalo na sa karatig bansa upang hindi makapasok ang bagong strain ng COVID-19 sa Lalawigan ng Palawan.

“Kami po ay nakikiusap sa ating mga kababayan, lalo na dito sa Southern Palawan, na kapag may bagong dating po at alam natin na sila ay nanggaling sa ibang lugar, probinsya o isla ng ating karatig bansa [lalo na] sa may bandang Malaysia [ay] agad po nating ipagbigay alam sa ating mga otoridad, sa punong barangay at sa ating munisipyo para po sa proper na management…,” ani Alili.

Paalala naman nito na kapag kumalat ang bagong strain ng virus ay posibleng isailalim sa lockdown ang kanilang komunidad.

“Pakiusap natin ay talagang bantayan na lang at kapag hindi mapigilang may dumating ay mai-quarantine plus ‘yung mga close contact…kasi po kapag tinago po ‘yan at kumalat [yung bagong strain ng COVID-19 ay] mas mahirap po ma-contain. Ang mangyayari mas lalong mahihirapan ang kanilang barangay o ‘ yung kanilang community dahil kailangan silang ilagay sa Enhanced Community Quarantine…,” Pahayag nito

Mainam pa rin aniya na sundin ng publiko ang ipinapatupad na minimum health protocol upang maiwasan ang anumang banta na karamdaman kabilang na ang COVID-19.

“…i-observe natin ‘yung proper protocol na everytime na tayo ay bumababa sa ibang lugar tayo po ay magqua-quarantine pagdating natin sa ating bayan, lugar o barangay para po ay wala po tayong mahawaan. Pati’ yung ating pamilya ay maligtas sa anumang sakit. Nais po nating hingiin ang cooperation ng lahat upang sa pagpasok po ng bagong taon 2021 tayo po ay malusog at mas makapamuhay ng mas masagana sa mga susunod na araw.” Dagdag na pahayag ni Alili.
