16 schools in Puerto Princesa approved to re-open for limited face-to-face on March 21

16 schools all over Puerto Princesa can now hold limited face-to-face classes as the Dep-Ed MIMAROPA Composite Team has launched today, March 16, the result of the recent exit conference held in all schools in the city.

14 out of 16 schools around the city scored a rating of “VMR” (Very Much Ready) while two rated “R” (Ready).

The following schools passed the stringent retrofitting and health standards imposed by CHED, the Department of Health (DOH) and the COVID-19 Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) :

1) Gregorio Oquendo MES – VMR

2) Puerto Princesa Pilot Es – VMR

3) East Central School – R

4) Palawan Hope CS – VMR

5) Palawan National School – VMR

6) Puerto Princesa City Science HS – VMR

7) Salve Regina School – VMR

8) TLC International School PP – VMR

9) Sta. Monica ES – VMR

10) Irawan ES – VMR

11) Labtay ES – VMR

12) Matahimik-Bucana ES – VMR

13) Lucbuan ES – VMR

14) Babuyan NHS- VMR

15) Cabayugan ES – VMR

16) Macarascas ES – VMR

The said schools are encouraged to always adhere a strict health standard and protocols as students gear up for limited face-to-face classes. The Dep-Ed Puerto Princesa also stated in a published press release that these schools need to partner with the local government and other stakeholders.

Dr. Nicholas Capulong, Regional Director VI, CESO III advised all school heads to coordinate and attend the scheduled exit conference for the resumption of their limited face-to-face classes tentatively on March 21.

Dr. Ana Basig, Principal III of East Central School pledge support in the upcoming exit conference.

“Susunod tayo sa rekomendasyon ng ating director, isalang-alang natin ang ilan pang proseso at dapat gawin para tuloy-tuloy na ang implementasyon ng F-to F sa susunod na linggo,” she said.
