The Puerto Princesa City Water District (PPCWD) announced that several areas in Barangay Macarascas and Salvacion may experience water shortage due to supply problem caused by dry season, which prompted it to do valving activities and water rationing.

Salvacion at Macarascas.

This prompted the PPCWD to do valving activities which it said will provide water services for Bahile from 6am to 6pm, while from 6pm to 6am in Barangay Salvacion.

While in Macarascas, there will be a water rationing at 2pm in Macarascas Brgy. Hall, Naval Station, at Pier Area, Purok Centro, Purok Mandaragat and Purok Bagong Silang.

At 3pm, the PPCWD will ration water in Macarascas Mini City Hall and Purok Pag-asa. By 6pm, it will ration water in households near Macarascas National High School.

PPCWD assured that it is fixing one water source-known as Lasyaw in Bahile to augment water supply in affected areas affected by low water supply.
