Provincial Government, hinamon ang One Palawan na magsampa ng reklamo sa nangyayari umanong vote buying

Pumalag ang Pamahalaang Panlalawigan sa akusasyon ng kampo ng ‘No’ o kontra sa paghahati ng Palawan na may nangyayaring vote-buying sa mga munisipyo para pumabor sa ‘Yes’ sa araw ng botohan.

“Vote buying? Kung sa tingin nila mayroong vote buying, magaling naman sila picturan nila yan tapos dalhin sa COMELEC, mag-file ng kaso. Hindi puwede ganun-ganun lang, eh hindi pa nga nagplebisito nag-vote buying na. Ano ba yan? Pero kung sa tingin nila mayroon, kapag may nakitang vote buying picturan ninyo tapos with that evidence file-lan kami ng kaso and then sasagot kami ganun lang naman yun,” pahayag ni Winston Arzaga, Palawan Provincial Information Officer.

Binanggit din ng tagapagsalita ng Provincial Government na may ipinamimigay sila pero ito umano ay bahagi ng programa ng pamahalaan lalo na ngayong nasa panahon ng pandemya dahil sa COVID-19.

“Talagang nagbibigay kami niyan, part yan ng regular na program ng Provincial Government, unang-una sa mga indigent senior citizens. Hindi naman puwede na gutom-gutom na lang yan, dahil may plebisito hindi na kakain yan .Mayroon naman regular na programa ang Provincial Government sa pagtulong sa mga nagugutom. Sa paningin nila yung pagtutulong na ganun eh nag-violate a certain rule ng COMELEC, its up for them,”

Aminado naman ang kampo ng ‘No’sa paghahati ng Palawan sa tatlong probinsya na bagamat maraming sumbong silang natatanggap mula sa iba’t ibang munisipyo sa umano’y nangyayaring vote buying ay nahihirapan pa sila sa pagkalap ng sapat na ebidensya kaugnay dito.

“Marami nagsusumbong [na may nangyayaring vote buying], yes ongoing ngayon iba’t ibang paraan [ng vote buying]. Siyempre ngayon dinadaan [nila] sa paayuda pero yun nga ang nakakalungkot. Katulad sa Roxas, kasusumbong lang ginagawang practice voting na [may] pinapapirma ang mga tao 3 times sa bara-barangay. Iipunin ang mga sumbong sana may actual documentation like yung video o picture noong actual na pangyayari [ng vote buying] para mas maganda para hindi sabihin na hearsay lang and saka pa lang mag-file ng complaint sa COMELEC,” pahayag ni Cynthia Sumagaysay- Del Rosario ng One Palawan Movement.

Handa rin umano titigil ang kanilang grupo sa pagtutok sa matatanggap na mga ebidensya sa pamimili ng boto sa paparating na plebisto upang makapagsampa ng kaukulang reklamo sa COMELEC.

“Kapag may positive, iniipon kasi yan. Yes may tututok diyan na legal team. Iipunin ang mga sumbong sana may actual documentation like yung video o picture noong actual na pangyayari para mas maganda para hindi sabihin na hearsay lang and saka pa lang mag-file ng complaint sa COMELEC,”
