Palawan State University (PSU) has achieved a remarkable milestone by launching its very own School of Medicine, situated in Barangay Tiniguiban, Puerto Princesa City. This exciting development marks a significant step forward for education and healthcare in the MIMAROPA Region.

The inauguration took place today, September 1, featuring key figures such as Jo Mark Libre, Commissioner of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and Atty. Joselito Alisuag, the Regional Director for CHED-MIMAROPA. PSU President Ramon Docto, who has been instrumental in making this project a reality, was also present alongside the new Dean of PSU-School of Medicine, Dr. Helen Sigua.

The MIMAROPA Region is poised to witness the emergence of a new generation of medical professionals who will leave their mark on the region’s healthcare landscape.

The inauguration also underscores PSU’s commitment to excellence and innovation, setting a precedent for future strides in education and healthcare.
